heinzelpöls is one of the largest producers of high-quality, elemental chlorine-free bleached and unbleached long-fiber kraft pulp in Central and Southeastern Europe.

In addition to pulp under the Orion brand, high-quality kraft paper is produced under the Starkraft brand on three of the most modern paper machines in the world.

heinzelpöls is part of the HEINZEL GROUP, an Austria-based, family-owned group of companies operating in the paper and pulp industry.

In 2013, Starkraft laid the foundation for strong, flexible kraft paper solutions with PM2 and exceeded expectations year after year. With the introduction of paper machine PM3, Starkraft expanded its production capacity to over 200,000 tons.

In 2024, a third paper machine (PM6) was commissioned in Steyrermühl, increasing the capacity of bleached and unbleached kraft papers to 340,000 tons per year.

Starkraft papers are subsequently used to manufacture products for flexible packaging solutions and special applications.
