TOSS GmbH & Co KG in Alten-Buseck, founded in 1967 by Mr. Franco Toss, is divided into 3 divisions:

Packaging Systems, PNEUMATIC and INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS, as well as a sister plant, TOSS Verpackungssysteme Freital near Dresden. A total of approx. 170 employees work at both locations. Forward-looking and innovative developments can be found in all TOSS divisions:

The packaging systems division is mainly concerned with horizontal and vertical bag forming, filling and sealing machines, from project planning and design to assembly and sales. The film packaging machines from TOSS are used by well-known customers from almost all countries in Europe, the USA, Australia, Africa and many more.

The second division INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS manufactures and sells wear parts for packaging machines as well as components and aggregates for the processing of thermoplastic films. The product spectrum ranges from impulse heating tapes in all dimensions to PTFE glass fabric films and a wide range of silicone rubber profiles.

The company PNEUMATIC forms the third main pillar at the headquarters in Alten-Buseck. Here, the "Pneumatic-Baustein", which is now known worldwide, was developed by combining a simple cylinder and a rolling guide. It is used in general mechanical engineering, but also in fixture construction. Over the years, it has grown into a large family of pneumatic articles, which are of course also used in our packaging machines, as a result of ever newer and more specific applications and uses.

In addition to packaging machines, the Freital (Dresden) plant primarily manufactures forming collars and format sets for all types of form, fill and seal machines using state-of-the-art CNC production technology. The subsidiary Hainsberger Metallwerk GmbH operates a tool shop for aluminum moulds and plastic injection moulds. HMW has a mechanical production facility equipped with state-of-the-art machining equipment. Examination material sets for vocational training complement the product range in this area.
