Thimonnier SASU

Thimonnier is a French company based in the Rhône region that has been designing and manufacturing special machines for more than 70 years to package sensitive products in flexible packaging.

The company’s activities are structured around two core areas of expertise:

==> Filling sensitive liquids, which may be:

• ingested (food industry – e.g. DOYPACK®)

• injected (pharmaceutical industry – e.g. IV bags, blood filters…)

• applied to the skin or used in atmospheric applications (cosmetics & detergents – e.g. sachets, flexible eco-refills)

==> Sealing flexible materials (technical fabrics, plastics) for industrial applications (e.g. splints, life jackets, tensile structures, etc.).

Historically committed to sustainable development, the company has focused from the very beginning on eco-designing its machines and on the use of thin, flexible packaging, reducing environmental impact by minimizing the amount of material used.

Proof of this is the DOYPACK®, the famous stand-up pouch, which was invented in 1963 by Louis Doyen, then President of Thimonnier.
