S.A.M. KUCHLER Electronics GmbH is an Austrian family-owned company that develops and produces compact slicing machines, deli slicers and packaging machines for foods such as sausage, cheese and ham – for point of sale, service counter / fresh-food counter, deli counter and further processing.

Slicing & Portioning (manual to fully automatic)

Our systems slice and portion deli products directly in the store or in production: from manual hand slicers to fully automatic machines with stacker and integrated scale or a scale integrated into the conveyor belt.

Slicing onto convoyer belt

Fully automatic solutions slice and portion on a conveyor belt so that the portions can then be flexibly further processed – e.g. placed in trays and then, depending on the concept, packed under vacuum or MAP (modified atmosphere packaging) (also as an upstream stage for traysealers).

PrePacking / PreCut (vacuum & MAP & FreshPak)

From compact slicing and packaging systems that automatically slice and pack fresh products directly in the store, to the fully automatic slicing and packaging line that produces packs under MAP or vacuum and thus supports a longer shelf life.

Fresh packaging / food packaging

At the PoS, our slicing-packaging system offers a solution specifically for the service counter / fresh-food counter and deli counter in supermarkets or butcher shops. Automatic slicing and packaging in one line can significantly reduce staffing requirements and increase process quality.

Packaging solutions

With SamPak® and Bio-SamPak®, SAM offers innovative multi-layer packaging for freshness and sustainability. Bio-SamPak® is the compostable film for sliced products.
