Paptic - Because the world needs better packaging

Paptic is a material innovation and manufacturing company established in 2015 with headquarters in Finland. The company has developed wood-fibre-based and recyclable Paptic® materials to replace plastics and other conventional materials in flexible packaging. The materials can be used in various packaging applications, e.g., product packaging, bags, and e-commerce mailers. The Paptic® materials are convertable into packages with existing packaging lines and they offer a unique combination of strength, environmental responsibility, and positively distinguishable touch & feel properties.

Only wood fibres sourced from sustainably managed forests are used in Paptic® materials and they are available as FSC® certified. At the end of its life cycle, packaging made of Paptic® is to be recycled together with packaging papers and cardboard.

The industrial-scale production was started in 2018. Today Paptic is a company with over 40 professionals, and the materials are delivered to over 50 countries.
