kAPAG Karton + Papier AG is a family-run Swiss company that was founded in Muhen in 1852. The company initially produced handmade cardboard, later gray cardboard. At the turn of the millennium, the decision was made to discontinue the production of cardboard and to become a manufacturer and specialist service provider in the areas of laminating, coating, finishing and equipping.

Today, KAPAG owns a dozen production and processing machines and is a leading manufacturer of paper and cardboard lamination in Europe thanks to its in-house developed 2 to 6-ply laminating capacity of over 20,000 tons. Not only converters but also the majority of well-known paper manufacturers use our wide range of products and services.

Broad range of products and services

KAPAG can process or produce materials from 45 g/m² and up to 5 mm thick and from 25 mm narrow to almost 2500 mm wide. Applications are wide-ranging, whether in the high-quality packaging and graphics sector, in industry or logistics.
